Hey! I’m Bjorn, I recently graduated from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management, where I earned my degree in Entrepreneurial Management.

At the University of Minnesota, I served as the student photographer for Gopher Athletics, where I developed my skills in action, portrait, and studio photography while covering a wide range of collegiate sports. This experience deepened my passion for sports media and visual storytelling. Since then, I’ve worked as the League Photographer for Da Beauty League, with my work featured by ESPN, Bleacher Report, and the NHL. I was also a 2024 World Sports Photography Awards finalist, participated in the NCAA Women’s Final Four Workshop, and served as an Assistant Photographer for the PWHL’s Minnesota team, covering the away team and supporting league content efforts.

I’m also the Founder of Gator Lace, a hockey lace startup focused on bringing performance-driven innovation to the game. Our sawtooth-style laces, inspired by marathon shoe technology, are designed to improve skate fit, maintain tension, and enhance performance. Gator Lace has gained traction with athletes and retailers, was a semifinalist in the MN Cup, and won the University of Minnesota Business Pitch Competition.

Most recently, I completed a Photography Internship with the Buffalo Sabres and Buffalo Bandits, where I covered NHL and NLL games, team events, studio productions, and community initiatives while supporting the organization’s media, marketing, and storytelling efforts. After completing my internship, I moved back to Buffalo to continue my career in professional sports photography as a team photographer for the Buffalo Bills!

Outside of photography, I stay active through marathon training and hiking while continuing to explore creative projects, including astrophotography and entrepreneurship.
